AHCMOM213 – Operate and maintain chainsaws
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a hand-held chainsaw and maintain it in working condition.
The course covers the maintenance, preparation and operation of hand-held chainsaws in a work environment. It requires the application of skills and knowledge to cross-cut fallen timber using safe cutting techniques. It also covers the maintenance and servicing requirements of chainsaw powerheads and cutting attachments, chain sharpening, clean-up, storage procedures and recording requirements.
The nationally recognised qualification AHCMOM213 Operate and maintain chainsaws, is delivered under a third-party agreement by V.E.T. Centre (QLD) on behalf of All States Training RTO #32577.
All States Training RTO #32577 is the Registered Training Organisation that issues certification upon successful completion of the accredited course.
