RIIMPO315E – Conduct tractor operations
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to operate tractors and use attachments. It applies to those working in site-based roles.
During the course you will learn how to:
- Obtain, confirm and apply safety requirements
- Select appropriate tools and equipment required
- Identify and apply environmental protection requirements
- Conduct pre-operational machine checks
- Identify site hazards and minimise risks
- Operate tractor to work instructions
- Select, remove and fit attachments
- Use attachments in accordance with recommendations and design limits
- Relocate tractor
- Carry out machine operator maintenance
- Conduct inspection and fault finding
- Clear work area in accordance with the environmental management plan
- Clean, check, maintain and store plant, tools and equipment.
The nationally recognised qualification RIIMPO315E Conduct tractor operations, is delivered under a third-party agreement by V.E.T. Centre (QLD) on behalf of All States Training RTO #32577.
All States Training RTO #32577 is the Registered Training Organisation that issues certification upon successful completion of this accredited course.
