RIIMPO322E – Conduct civil construction tracked front end loader operations
This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to operate a tracked front end loader to shift loads. It applies to those working in site-based roles.
The course covers conducting tracked front end loader operations in the civil construction industry including:
- Conducting machine pre-operational checks prior to commencing operations
- Assessing site and operating hazards
- Selecting equipment suitable to job requirements
- Operating the machine, including mixing materials
- Safe operation techniques
- Stripping/ spreading topsoil and materials, loading, cutting/ boxing, backfilling
- Attaching, securing, lifting, carrying and placing materials to meet job requirements
- Parking and shutting down the machine
- Transporting machine and equipment safely between worksites
- Carrying out machine operator maintenance
- Cleaning up after operations
The nationally recognised qualification RIIMPO322E – Conduct civil construction tracked front end loader operations, is delivered under a third-party agreement by V.E.T. Centre (QLD) on behalf of All States Training RTO #32577.
All States Training RTO #32577 is the Registered Training Organisation that issues certification upon successful completion of the accredited course.
